Logitech Debuts Motion-Sensing Keyboard

Fremont, Calif. – Logitech
added to its line of wireless keyboards with the K800 on Wednesday, an
illuminated device.

The 2.4GHz K800 is
said to have ambient light and motion sensors that automatically adjust based on
the amount of light in the room. Motion sensors detect users’ hands and turn
the backlighting on and off as they move near and away.

The battery life
is up to 10 days without recharging, Logitech said, and charging is done via a
MicroUSB cable

Other features on
the K800 include the company’s Unifying technology, PerfectStroke key system
and Incurve keys. Suggested retail is $99.99. It will be available this month.
