Lawrenceville, Ga. –
Eddie Lageyre has joined SED International Holdings as senior VP, U.S. purchasing.
Lageyre will be
based out of the new SED headquarters, here, and will report directly to
Jonathan Elster, president/CEO.
Lageyre, with 18
years of purchasing experience in the industry, was most recently merchandising
VP of ArchBrook Laguna, where he was responsible for vendor relationships, well
as driving partnerships to effectively engage with the company’s sales force
and e-commerce and retailer customer base.
Before that, he
had executive roles with OnSale.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of PC Mall and
TigerDirect.
“Eddie brings a
wealth of experience to this role, with an extensive background as a wholesale
distributor and direct-to-consumer and business-to-business reseller
(e-commerce and retail),” said Elster.
“His knowledge of
managing multiple categories across various revenue streams and sales channels
for companies such as ArchBrook Laguna, PC Mall and TigerDirect make him
uniquely qualified to lead the U.S. purchasing efforts for SED. This role is an
important addition to the company, as it further strengthens our purchasing
organization as we execute on aggressive product and vendor partner related
initiatives in conjunction with our three-year strategic growth plan.”
