Kodak Launches Challenge With PGA

Rochester, N.Y. — Kodak said it would sponsor a “Kodak Challenge” for the PGA Tour starting in 2009.

Beginning in January, select tournaments will feature Kodak Challenge holes and a player must play 18 challenge holes to be eligible to win $1 million.

According to Kodak, the challenges holes will be announced this year and “will be selected by Kodak and the PGA Tour with input from an advisory board made up of representatives from a cross-section of the golf industry. Holes will be selected based on their aesthetic beauty and their connection to memorable moments in the game of golf.”

Kodak and the PGA Tour sealed a six-year marketing relationship in 2008.
