Klipsch Expands Live Nation Alliance

Indianapolis – Klipsch expanded its
promotional alliance with Live Nation Entertainment with the re-naming of a
24,000-capacity amphitheater outside the city to the Klipsch Music Center.

Earlier
this year

, Klipsch received naming rights to two East Coast concert venues
operated by Live Nation and became a sponsor of two other Live Nation venues as
part of a multiyear alliance.

The amphitheater,
formerly known as Verizon Wireless Music Center, sits on 228 acres in
Noblesville, Ind., near Klipsch’s headquarters city of Indianapolis. The venue has
hosted popular artists since its 1989 opening, including Frank Sinatra,
Coldplay, Metallica and recently Elton John.

As part of the alliance,
Klipsch will donate the proceeds of an auction for an Orange County Chopper
motorcycle to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The motorcycle will be outfitted with
Klipsch speakers and signed by artists performing at the Klipsch Music Center
during the 2012 concert season.

In conjunction
with Live Nation, Klipsch has multiyear naming rights to New York City’s Irving
Plaza, now called Irving Plaza Powered by Klipsch, and Miami’s Bayfront Park
Amphitheater, now called Klipsch Amphitheater at Bayfront Park. Klipsch is also
sponsoring the Lounge at the Gramercy Theater in New York City and the VIP Club
at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach.
