Kenwood Taps Hoag As Senior VPLas Vegas – Kenwood veteran Dave Hoag, who had been appointed executive VP for Kenwood consumer electronic on an interim basis, got position on a permanent basis, the company said during International CES. 1/09/2014 11:14:00 AM Eastern
Las Vegas – Kenwood sales VP Dave Hoag has been promoted to senior VP, responsible for sales and marketing.
The nine-year Kenwood veteran replaces 10-year Kenwood veteran Keith Lehmann, who recently left the company as executive VP.
Lehmann was also senior VP of JVC Mobile Entertainment, but parent company JVC Kenwood Americas hasn’t said whether it will fill that position.
In May 2103, Lehmann took on responsibility for JVC Mobile’s sales, marketing and business strategy while maintaining his Kenwood responsibilities. He assumed the title of senior VP of JVC Mobile, and his Kenwood title changed from senior VP to executive VP of consumer electronics upon assuming JVC responsibilities.
JVC and Kenwood merged in 2008 to form JVC Kenwood Holdings, and in 2011, the two companies’ U.S. car audio groups began to share office space in the same Long Beach building.
