Kenwood Appoints New President

Long Beach, Calif.
- Kenwood USA
announced the appointment of 30-year Kenwood veteran Junji Kobayashi as
president. 

He succeeds Shoichiro "Scott"
Eguchi, who returns to Japan as a senior VP of J&K Car Electronics, after
serving as Kenwood USA president for four years.

Kobayashi's previous roles include president of Kenwood
Electronics Technologies Malaysia and 11 years in sales and product development
roles at Kenwood USA.

"I am very pleased to return to Kenwood USA, and I look forward
to working with my staff in developing new strategies and programs that will
address the difficulties of the U.S. economy," said Kobayashi. 

In Japan, Eguchi will be in charge of aftermarket mobile
electronics business development for the Kenwood and JVC brands at J&K Car
Electronics, a division of J
& K Holdings
that was officially formed last October when JVC and
Kenwood merged operations in Japan.
