Kensington Shows Off Latest iPad Accessories

Redwood Shores, Calif. –
 Kensington sat down with TWICE earlier
this week to show off its latest iPad and iPod accessories.

Three iPad cases were
introduced, positioned as “good, better and best” products, Juan Rodriguez, a
Kensington product manager, said. The first, the Flick Folio, is a synthetic
case with an attached kickstand that enables multiple viewing angles. Suggested
retail is $39.99.

The Key Folio is an iPad
case also made of synthetic leather but with an integrated Bluetooth keyboard
and kickstand. They keyboard is constructed out of rubber to protect the iPad
screen with it folds down. Suggested retail is $99.99.

The third, known as the
PowerBack, has an integrated battery built into the case as well as a kickstand.
It also features a passive speaker that directs the iPad’s sound toward the
user, Rodriguez said. Suggested retail is $129, and up to five hours of extra
battery life are reportedly provided.

Kensington also took the
wraps off several battery cases and a hands-free cradle for the car.

The AssistOne hands-free
car device with voice activation (K39200US, $99.99) provides a secure mount for
the iPhone with voice-activated controls. It also amplifies sound via a
built-in mono speakerphone and charges the iPhone during use. Connection,
calling and playback is done via Bluetooth.

Featuring include a
multifunction button to launch iPhone Voice Controls, an audio aux-out port and
a MicroUSB port. Suggested retail is $99.99.
