Kensington Intros QuickSeek FM Transmitter

6/19/2007 12:45:00 PM Eastern

Redwood Shores, Calif. — Kensington recently announced its newest FM transmitter.

The QuickSeek FM transmitter is engineered to locate the clearest FM station for transmitting iPod tunes through a radio.

The QuickSeek technology reportedly finds the clearest station in seconds with the touch of a button, while the company’s ClearFM technology “delivers superior sound.” The device also charges a user’s iPod while it plays through the car stereo, and the detachable car charger also recharges USB-powered devices, such as mobile or smartphones and PDAs.

Other features include three station presets for instant tuning and a detachable spacer that provides a customized fit with iPod models in a protective case.

The QuickSeek is compatible with second-generation iPod models with a dock connector.

It is currently available for an $89.99 suggested retail price.
