New York — Industry veteran Keith Ido has joined Haier America as electronics sales VP.
Ido left JVC Company of America last month after 36 years with the manufacturer, most recently as buying group and distributor VP, a post he had held for more than 14 years.
In his new role, Ido will oversee CE sales to independent dealers, key accounts and distributors, Haier said.
Haier, based here, sells major appliances, HDTVs and personal electronics. The 10-year-old company, headed by president/CEO Michael Jemal, is the sales and marketing arm of China’s Haier Group for the Western Hemisphere.
