New York - Kaspersky Labs started shipping its Pure Total
Security title this week.
The new all-in-one suite, now available for $89.99, adds the
ability to centrally manage the security of several computers using Kasperky's
Home Network Management interface, the company said. The suite features
integrated password management, automated file backup and restore, encryption
and all the general security software offered by Kaspersky.
The Home Network Management interface allows the home's IT person
to set security policies for each computer, run scans remotely, perform
backups, fix security issues and set parental controls.
The parental control feature has been upgraded to allow parents
to set individual protection levels geared toward the child's needs.
