JVC Debuts Black Series Headphones

Wayne, N.J. – JVC has debuted a series of portable headphones on Wednesday and added two models to its line of in-ear headphones.

The JVC Black series is comprised of two SKUs, the HA-M750 and HA-S650, both foldable over-the-head models with glossy and flat black finishes.

Features include large driver units with carbon compound diaphragms, memory-foam ear pads, and adjustable stainless-steel headbands.

The HA-M750 ($79.95 suggested retail) is billed as a full-size headphone with a 40mm driver unit. It offers “DJ-style” one-ear monitoring with a twistable housing, JVC said, and comes with a 3.94-foot pure copper cord and a 6.56-foot extension cord. It also includes a gold-plated iPhone-compatible plug and 0.25-inch plug adapter.

The JVC HA-S650 ($69.96) is a flat-folding model with 36mm driver unit and 3.94-foot pure copper cord. It too comes with the iPhone-compatible plug.

Both will be available in August.

JVC also said it was adding two new models to its in-ear headphones line. The “splash-proof” HA-EBX85 ($19.95) sports clip headphones features ear hooks and is available in three colors: white, pink and purple. It has 11mm drivers and will be available in August.

The second model, the HA-FX20 ($14.95) All Star headphones, is offered in five different color combinations. It has 8.5mm drivers and will be available in September. Both models come with rubber ear cushions in three sizes and cords meant to reduce friction noise.
