Miramar, Fla. — JL Audio, located in weather-battered southern Florida, asked TWICE to post the following message to its retailers, regarding the impact of Hurricane Wilma:
“On Oct. 23, Hurricane Wilma struck South Florida, causing massive power outages and damage. Our main facility in Miramar, Fla., survived the storm without any structural damage but is still without power. We have implemented emergency plans and are operating on a limited basis with generator power. Shipments to our dealers continue uninterrupted from our Phoenix warehouse and our Miramar warehouse.
At this time, our telephone system is not operating, but we expect to restore communication by Nov. 1. We appreciate your patience during this difficult time and look forward to resuming normal operations in the next week.
Most importantly, we are extremely grateful that all of our employees and their families seem to have weathered the hurricane with no loss of life or serious injury.”
