InoSmart Debuts Solar Multi-Charger

Fremont, Calif. –
InoSmart is bringing to market a new solar-powered 5-volt multi-device charger.

InoSmart’s ESx3000
has four USB charging ports, a night light and LED flashlight in a compact
3.66-inch by 2.48-inch by 1-inch footprint that weighs less than 6 ounces.

The ESx3000’s
rechargeable 2,200 mAh lithium-ion 3.7-volt backup battery can be recharged
using solar energy, a wall outlet, a car outlet or USB port and is capable of
charging four devices simultaneously.

According to the
company, eight to 10 hours of direct sunlight is required for  to fully charge the unit’s battery, but one
hour is adequate to power up a completely dead cellphone and make a call. A
fully charged ESx3000 can fully charge a smartphone, or two cellphones, can
power the flashlight for five hours or the LED night light for 48 hours. A full
charge delivered to a device takes between six and eight hours.

The charging unit
is packaged with a standard 6-inch dongle, a 12-inch USB cable, 12 tips for
standard 5-volt portable devices and a travel bag.

The SKus are
shipping now through distributor Ingram Micro and are available in open stock,
J-hooks, end caps, and counter and floor display shipments.

According to sales
VP Wesley Brown, “InoSmart is dedicated to sustainability. The ESx3000 is a
true eco-friendly product and we anticipate all of our packaging will be made
of 100-percent recycled materials in the near future. This is a tough, long
lasting charger that can be used almost anywhere. It is a ‘must have’ for
consumers with a terrific perceived value and great margins. All-in-all — this
is definitely a win-win for retailers, consumers and the environment.”

InoSmart said the
unit is built to deliver up to 500 charges and the lithium-ion battery is
replaceable.

The suggested
retail is $59.95.
