Industry Veteran Fred Bolton Dies

Rockville Center, N.Y. — Fred Bolton, a 25-year veteran of the consumer electronics industry, died on Jan. 1.

Over the course of his career, Bolton held regional and national sales and marketing management roles with Sharp Electronics and Universal Remote Control. In 2003, he successfully founded his own independent sales representative firm — Fred Bolton and Associates.

“Fred Bolton was both a consummate professional and a true gentleman, making him highly revered by the many people that he came into contact with,” said former Sharp Electronics Corporation co-worker and longtime friend Bill Yank. “He will be greatly missed.”
