Imation Bows Atom Flash Drive

Oakdale, Minn. — Imation will ship its smallest USB flash drive to dealers this month.

The Imation Atom will feature password protection, drive partition software and is Vista ReadyBoost-compatible. ReadyBoost allows Vista operating system users to use the Atom flash drive for additional system memory, improving PC performance.

The diminutive drive measures in at 1.5 inches long and 0.5 inches wide and weighs less than 1 ounce.

The drives will be sold in 1GB, 2GB, 4GB and 8GB capacities with a retail price range of $17.99 to $99.99.
