Port Washington, N.Y. — iLuv unveiled its latest tabletop HD Radio that replaces a current model and adds iTunes tagging and Works with iPhone certification.
The new iHD171 will be available in January at www.i-luv.com at a suggested $199. It replaces the current $189-suggested iPod-docking i169.
Other features include dual alarm clock functions and a video output to watch iPod-stored videos on a connected TV. The video output feature works with all iPods but first- and second-generation iPod Nanos. A time-sync function automatically updates the clock to match the time on a docked iPhone or iPod. The display shows station, song title, band and frequency information.
The iHD171 also features 30 programmable presets, auxiliary 3.5mm input and 2×4-watt RMS audio output. Users can wake up or go to sleep to iPhone/iPod music or the AM/FM radio.
The product will be displayed at the company’s CES booth, 12114, in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
