iBiquity Unveils Latest Promotional Partnership

Columbia, Md. – iBiquity Digital teamed up with Brent Cobb, the country singer-songwriter newcomer, in the latest promotional partnership between the HD Radio developer and an emerging artist.

As part of Cobb’s January-April tour, iBiquity will work with HD Radio stations to promote on-air ticket giveaways to the show and meet and greets, giveaways of HD Radios and Cobb’s self-titled EP, and backstage access at tour sites. Social-media promotion is also part of the partnership.

In the past two years, iBiquity partnered with Charlie Worsham when he toured with Taylor Swift, Totsy when the group toured with the Brian Setzer Orchestra, and Ryan Beatty when he toured with Cody Simpson

“This support of emerging artists is something that iBiquity supports, and we feel it complements our technology’s ability to deliver more radio programming,” said iBiquity senior VP Joe D’Angelo. iBiquity is also a sponsor of this week’s Crested Butte Songwriter’s Festival with BMI and Texas Roadhouse. The event raises money for breast cancer research and prevention.

“High quality HD Radio broadcasts are perfect for new artists like Brent Cobb, and new HD2 and HD3 channels provide artists broader access to the radio airwaves and their fans,” said iBiquity CEO Robert Struble.
