HTSA Elects New Board Members

Chester Springs, Pa. – Home Theater Specialists of America (HTSA) has elected new corporate officers.

Elected president of the A/V specialty buying group for 2007 is David Wexler, president of The Little Guys in Glenwood, Ill. Elected vice president is Brian Hudkins of Baltimore’s The Gramophone Ltd. Also joining the HTSA’s board of directors is Leon Shaw, president of Audio Advice in Raleigh, N.C.

The three join continuing board members Jon Robbins of Hi Fi House; David Young of The Sound Room; Leon SooHoo of Paradyme; Mike McMaster of Wilshire Home Entertainment; Chuck Abbott of Abbott’s Audio &Video; and Bob Gullo of Electronic Design Group.

Wexler said that 2007 “looks to be a challenging year. We are ready to adapt our group to better serve our members, clients, and vendors and make a little money in the process.”

Added Glikes: “David’s energy, enthusiasm, and humor will lead the group through the profitless pit the nationals are trying to drag us through. We will reinvent ourselves in 2007 to further insulate ourselves from the TV-centric model which no longer works.”
