HP Taps Bradley To Head PSG

Palo Alto, Calif. — Hewlett-Packard appointed R. Todd Bradley as executive VP of the personal systems group (PSG), and recreating it as a stand-alone unit under the HP corporate umbrella.

The decision by newly appointed CEO Mark Hurd reverses a decision made in January by former HP CEO Carly Fiorina to combine the PSG, which handles PCs, notebooks and monitors, with the imaging and printing group (IPG) under the leadership of executive VP Vyomesh Joshi. Joshi will return to heading just the IPG.

Previously, Bradley served as CEO of palmOne and as an executive with Gateway.
