HE 2004 Show Sets Seminar, Event List

NEW YORK – The Home Entertainment 2004 Show (HE2004), to be held at the New York Hilton from May 20 to May 23, has outlined its list of educational seminars.

HE2004 is open to the public, so consumers can see the latest in high-performance CE entertainment products, plus learn more about the technologies and hear live music daily from jazz and blues artists, according to show organizer PRIMEDIA.

Here is the list of events:

May 21

10:00 a.m.– 11:00 a.m.: Innovations: Trends in Digital Photography, Moderator: George Schuab, Editor, Shutterbug magazine

11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: HDTV Super Session, Moderator: Maureen Jenson, editor, Home Theater magazine

12:30 p.m. — 2:00 p.m.: Blues Lunch (food & beverages available at additional cost)

2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Loudspeaker Luminaries, Moderator: John Atkinson, editor, Stereophile magazine

4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Stereophile Ultimate AV: (formerly Stereophile Guide To Home Theater) Upgrading & Tweaking Your Home Theater, Moderator: Tom Norton, editor, Stereophile Ultimate AV magazine

May 22

– 10:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.: The Ins and Outs of Custom Installation — Ask the Pros, Moderator: Krissy Rushing, editor, Connected magazine

May 23

Seating is limited; HE2004 attendees are encouraged to arrive on time in order to benefit from the seminars. Admittance to seminars is included with the price of a daily or weekend ticket to the Show. Food and beverages will be available at additional cost during the lunchtime music sessions.

Show attendees are invited to attend a grand, spectacular concert on Friday evening by popular recording artists — proceeds to benefit the Elf Foundation, a nonprofit charity that brings music and films to children enduring extended stays in hospitals across the country.
