Griffin Bows Elevator Laptop Stand

12/22/2006 09:49:00 AM Eastern

Nashville, Tenn. — Griffin Technology has introduced the Elevator desktop stand for laptops.

The Elevator raises laptops off the desktop by using a 0.5-inch-thick crossbar to hold two 0.25-inch-thick aluminum standards, positioning the laptop's screen at what the company describes as an ideal height for viewing. Its open-air design is meant to allow air to freely circulate around the laptop's cooling vents.

The Elevator desktop stand accommodates all Macintosh laptops and other laptops 10 inches wide and wider. At a $39.99 suggested retail, the product is now available.
