GM Expands XM Offering

Detroit - General Motors said it will expand the availability of XM Satellite Radio as a factory installed option to 44 models, up from the current 25 models.

GM said the expansion will begin in the 2004 model year. Among the new models offering XM are several vehicles debuting in January at the Detroit Auto Show, including the Chevrolet Malibu, Malibu Maxx, Colorado and GMC Canyon mid-size pick-ups. XM will also be available on GM's high-volume SUVs including the Chevy Trailblazer, GMC Envoy and the new Buick Rainier.
