Washington — General Motors announced it has produced more than 3 million vehicles with factory-installed XM satellite radios.
GM offers XM exclusively on more than 50 vehicle models and will offer it on nearly 90 percent of GM’s U.S. retail models in the 2006 model year as either an option or standard equipment, said XM.
Sirius, which has an exclusive agreement with Ford, has stated in the past that Ford is expected to generate 1 million Sirius subscribers during the 2006/2007 model year.
