Global Warranty Group has added Apple iPhone handset replacement coverage to
its wireless protection program.
The extended-warranty provider is offering its
7,000 independent wireless dealers two levels of replacement coverage: iPhone
Protect Gold, which covers accidental and liquid damage, and the more
comprehensive iPhone Protect Platinum, which covers lost, stolen, broken,
accidental and liquid damage.
All iPhone models
will be covered under the programs, including the latest 4G iPhone.
“We recognize the
growing importance of iPhone sales,” said Global Warranty Group president
Charles Pipia, and introduced the replacement program “in response to our
dealers’ requests.”
