Gateway Expands LT Netbook Line

- Gateway has added another netbook to its inventory with the release of the
LT2000.

The configure-to-order LT2000 follows the introduction last month
of the LT3100.
The new netbook has a 10.1-inch Gateway's LT2000display, is about 1-inch thick and weighs 2.62
pounds. It is now shipping with a $299 suggested retail.

The base configuration of the LT2000 has a 160GB hard drive, 1GB
of memory and is powered by an Intel Atom processor running at 1.6GHz. The unit
has an Intel 945GSE chipset and an integrated Intel graphics media accelerator
950.

Other features include a built-in Web cam, two speakers, three
USB ports and a 3-cell lithium-ion battery.
