Gap: Samsung Leads TV Placements Across Channels

SAN DIEGO – Samsung has the most number of retail placements at each of three store channels, followed by LG and Vizio in second place, according to data from Gap Intelligence.

Gap Intelligence’s electronics store data includes both Best Buy and hhgregg. Mass merchants include Kmart, Sears, Target and Walmart. Club stores include BJ’s Wholesale Club, Costco and Sam’s Club.

“Other” manufacturers mentioned in the charts comprise Insignia, Philips, Proscan, Seiki, TCL and smaller manufacturers with less than 20 total retail placements.
