Indianapolis - British supplier Future
Automation is introducing its first product for the U.S. market at CEDIA Expo,
its Under Bed Lift (UBL).
The Hertfordshire, U.K.-based
company's proprietary motorized mounting mechanism stores a flat panel TV under
a bed and out of sight, requiring no cabinetry. It features a variable speed
motor and is "near silent in operation," said the company.
The UBL comes with an install
mount interface equipped for VESA compliant televisions plus a range of mount
options for non-VESA compliant screens, cable-management system, and a load
capacity of more than 70 pounds.
The Under Bed Lift, like
all Future Automation products, can interface with any third-party control
system. IR, RS-232 and Contact Closure Control interfaces come standard.
Future Automation is in booth
1940 and the UBL is also being displayed at the CEDIA Future Technology
Pavilion, booth 4754.
The Under Bed Lift is currently
available to Future Automation dealers.
