Valhalla, N.Y. –
said Thursday that Fujifilm Canada has been added to Fujifilm North America as
a subsidiary of the company.
Fujifilm North America was established on Jan. 1 when Fujifilm USA and Fujifilm Graphic Systems USA
were merged.
The addition of the Canadian subsidiary will support Fujifilm’s
objectives of building a stronger presence in the North American markets and in
realizing greater collaboration among businesses, the company said.
“Globally Fujifilm announced last year that during 2010, the
company would align its organization by region in Europe, North America, China and Asia,”
said Ryutaro Hosoda, Fujifilm North America president and CEO. “This move will
continue to position us more strongly to serve our customers in the North
American region even more effectively and efficiently.” Hosoda also serves as
president of Fujifilm Holdings America Corporation.
