Betting on increasing consumer demand for licensed products, Fellowes has signed agreements with two of the most bankable names in the entertainment industry: Disney and Looney Tunes.
Under a new deal with Disney, Fellowes will produce a Mickey Unlimited line of accessories, including mousepads, wristrests, carrying cases, and diskette and CD wallets. The line will be available at retail early next year.
Mickey is more than a mouse, of course, so retailers can look for accessories bearing the likenesses of other Disney characters, including Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pluto and Goofy.
In addition, Fellowes has teamed up with Warner Bros. to produce a line of 3.5-inch computer diskettes featuring the Looney Tunes gang: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Sylvester, Tweety and the Tazmanian Devil.
The Looney Tunes disks, scheduled to ship to stores this fall, are available in packages of 10, with two disks of each design in each package. The 10-pack has a suggested retail price of $12.99.
