Fashion Show Uses LG 3D Projector

New York – Fashion designer Marc Bouwer used

LG Electronics’

CF3D 3D video
projector to present his 2011 fall collection in 3D video at an invitation-only
presentation here Sunday, LG Electronics said.

The 3D fashion show, which featured former Victoria’s Secret
model Selita Ebanks, took place at the SOHO House, here.

LG Electronics USA’s Commercial Displays Division equipped the
SOHO House screening room with the 1080p 3D LCoS projector, which uses passive
polarized 3D glasses.

Marchon3D Eyewear provided the fashionable 3D glasses. Bravo
Media shot and rendered the program.

“Last year we broke with the status quo by only presenting our
show online, and we felt a 3D show was a great way to keep pushing the envelope
this year,” stated Bouwer. “LG’s projector offered the right 3D technology with
robust picture quality and a clarity that allowed me to introduce my new line
through an unforgettably immersive experience.”

The CF3D is the first FullHD dual-engine single-lens 3D projector,
featuring 2,500 ANSI lumens of brightness for 2D viewing and 1,250 ANSI lumens of
brightness for 3D content. The contrast ratio is 7,000:1.

The CF3D is notable for using two projection engines built into
one unit, reducing the space and size required to display 3D content from a
single projector.
