Epson Adds Four EX Series Projectors

Long Beach, Calif. – Epson introduced four compact business projectors in its EX Series, to be distributed through leading retailers.

All four new models offer Epson’s 3LCD display technology and were said to have been designed for small and medium business owners that demand proven performance.

The models include the following:

  • The EX3220 ($449 suggested retail) with 4:3 SVGA resolution, 3,000 color and white brightness output units, up to 6,000 hour lamp life.
  • The EX5220 ($549), with 4:3 XGA resolution, 3,000 color and white brightness output units, up to 6,000 hours of lamp life and wireless connectivity.
  •  The EX6220 ($599) with 16:10 widescreen WXGA resolution, 3,000 units of color/white brightness output.
  • The EX7220 ($649) with 16:10 widescreen XGA resolution, 3,000 units of color/white brightness output, and wireless connectivity.

Epson said its projectors offer three times the color brightness of other leading 3-chip projectors.

All models are said to include simple set-up and flexible positioning with automatic vertical keystone, a horizontal keystone slider and USB plug-N-play capability. Each projector weighs 5.29 pounds.

The line offers a range of flexible placement options with two models offering native widescreen aspect ratios and two models including wireless connectivity for easy connection to a laptop. The wireless functionality also works with Epson’s iProjection free app that allows wireless projector access from iOS and Android devices.
