Elan Control System Adds Fusion Music Streamers

10/09/2012 07:06:16 AM Eastern

Petaluma, Calif. – Elan Home Systems added control of Fusion Research’s Ovation audio streamers to its Elan g! home-control system.

The addition lets the home-control system access a greater variety of cloud-based music sources, including Slacker, MOG, TuneIn, LIVE365,, Pandora, SiriusXM, CBC-40, CBS Radio, BBC,, and AccuRadio. The Fusion Research streamers also access music stored on networked PCs.

The development will help dealers sell more Elan g! systems because the systems will now access more music services, the company said.

As an incentive to promote the Fusion streamers, Elan said it will provide dealers who purchase a deeply discounted Fusion demo system with a coupon for significant savings on a future Fusion Research purchase.

The ELAN g! Control System uses touchscreens, touchpads, TVs, PCs, and Android and iOS mobile devices to control home systems via a standardized interface across all of the platforms.
