Eichenbaum Named Krell Product VP

Orange, Conn. — Todd Eichenbaum, the lead engineer for more than 35 amplifier and loudspeaker products at Krell Industries, has been promoted to product development VP, a new post.

He will be taking a more active role in conceiving and defining new products, while continuing to be an active leader of Krell’s analog design team, the company said.

A 16-year Krell veteran, Eichenbaum began his career with the company in1988 and was lead engineer on their KSP-7B preamp, KSA-250 power amp, Full Power Balanced power amps, Evolution series preamps and power amps, and the KAV-400xi integrated amp. Those products garnered a host of industry accolades, including CES Design and Innovation Awards.

In 1995, Eichenbaum left Krell briefly to work as senior engineer at Precision Power, the mobile audio manufacturer. There, he led the design of the 2500F1, PPI’s flagship 2X500 watt power amp. Eichenbaum returned to Krell in 1998 when PPI was sold.
