Bethel, Conn. — Duracell announced that it is sponsoring a “Power of Portability” promotion, enabling consumers to take advantage of special retail offers and receive daily chances to win portable music players from the company’s Web site.
As part of the promotion, which begins in early May and runs through the end of July, MP3-player-optimized ear bud headphones will be included in specially marked Duracell CopperTop packs. The headphones are designed to work with various portable media players.
During the promotional period, consumers are also invited to visit Duracell’s Web site for an “online audio device instant-win game,” according to the company. In addition to online, MobiTV users have the option to play to win from their mobile phones by entering the promotion via special code.
The company said that a total of 101 prizes will be awarded every day. Prizes include MP3 player accessories and peripherals, including the Duracell PowerFM for iPod, the iTurbo portable iPod charger, Apple’s iPod Hi-Fi stereo, the iPod nano, iTunes gift cards, Siig Wireless Audio Link Pro and d.MUSE foldable compact speakers.
The promotion is available in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
