Glenview, Ill. — The Dolphin Group has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for MK Sound consumer products in the United States.
MK Sound is a Denmark-based audio manufacturer that caters to the home entertainment and professional audio markets. The Dolphin Group is the new distribution arm of Abt Electronics, the family-run appliance and electronics dealer, based here.
“This new relationship will benefit both companies and provide U.S. retailers with easy access to MK Sound’s fine products through our knowledgeable and experienced sales force. We look forward to a close and long-standing relationship,” said Mike Abt, president of The Dolphin Group
The Dolphin Group announcement coincides with a re-launch of MK’s core product line. The manufacturer said it has streamlined its offerings by reducing the number of models available. It has also introduced its M Series, based on one of its former professional product lines.
The Dolphin Group plans to showcase its MK offerings during CEDIA Expo, being held in Denver, Sept. 3-7. The distributor will be located at booth 464.
