Mahwah, N.J. - Stanley Black
& Decker executive Jim Caudill has been named CEO and representative
director of D&M Holdings, succeeding Yvonne Hao.
Hao, CEO since March 2009, will continue to serve as chair
of D&M's board of directors. Hao cited family reasons for leaving the CEO
Caudill, who will be based in
Mahwah, most recently was president of the hardware and home improvement group
of Stanley Black & Decker. The group generated $1 billion in global sales.
Caudill was with Black &
Decker for 20 years in a number of global positions, including VP/GM of the
industrial accessory division, VP of professional accessories, and marketing
director for the Asia Pacific region.
"Yvonne and the company have
done an outstanding job guiding the business through a difficult economic
environment and positioning D&M for the future," Caudill said in a prepared
statement. "I look forward to working with the team, our customers, and vendor
partners to deliver growth through product innovation, geographic expansion,
and pursuing strategies to attract new consumers." Said Hao, "The
Board and I are proud of what the company has been able to accomplish, and for
family reasons, I felt this was now the right time for me to move into a different
role with the company."
