Dish Slates French Open Coverage

5/28/2008 03:05:00 PM Eastern

Englewood, Colo. — Satellite TV service provider Dish Network, in association with the Tennis Channel, will broadcast multiple French Open matches simultaneously on the DishHOME interactive mosaic channel, allowing subscribers to watch up to six tennis matches on one screen, or to switch to one match in full-screen.

Dish said the feature will enable tennis enthusiasts to monitor several matches at once and, through the recent launch of Tennis Channel HD, they can opt to view individual highlighted matches in high-definition.

In a related move, the satellite provider said it will provide to all subscribers a free preview period of the Tennis Channel until June 8.
