– Andrew Reinsdorf has been promoted to government affairs senior VP at
DirecTV.
Reinsdorf, who
will report to Susan Eid, will oversee the company’s federal and state
legislative lobbying efforts, as well as lead the efforts for DirecTV’s political
action committee.
“Andrew has been a
part of the DirecTV family for five years and has played an integral role in
coordinating the company’s legislative strategy,” said Eid. “We are confident
that Andrew is the perfect candidate to help DirecTV advance its public policy
agenda in this ever-changing environment.”
Prior to joining DirecTV,
Reinsdorf also held positions at the National Association of Broadcasters,
Nestle USA and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Reinsdorf currently
serves as chairman of the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association.
