Directed To Conduct Training At KnowledgeFest

Vista, Calif. - Directed
Electronics said it will return to KnowledgeFest next week.

KnowledgeFest is a
trade show for mobile electronics retailers, put on by the Mobile Electronics
Retailers Association (MERA). It will be held at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas,
Aug. 28-30.

Christopher Fierek,
Directed marketing manager, will represent the company, along with Directed
tech trainer and MECP master installer Andrew Hartshorne, who will be conducting
three trainings:

Sunday - Grapevine
6 - 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Xpresskit

Monday - Grapevine
4-6 - 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. - Discovering Wires & Signals

Monday - Grapevine
6 - 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. - Xpresskit

On Monday at 10
a.m., Andy will team up with NAV-TV's Derek Schmiedl to present "Discovering
Wires & Signals," which will cover Analog vs. Digital, CAN bus data and CAN
bus errors, voltage drop testing, true multiplex circuits and video signal

Sunday's and
Monday's 5 p.m. trainings will focus on Xpresskit interfaces, including how the
interface module works on the data stream during remote start, new module ID
event history and troubleshooting, comparing VIN for firmware compatibility,
configurable D2D messages and LED diagnostics for error correction.
