D&H Earmarks Sales Percentage For Quake Relief

Harrisburg, Pa. – D&H Distributing will donate 1 percent of
its U.S. and Canadian sales from products by Japanese-based vendors to the
American Red Cross tomorrow and Friday.

The funds, expected to total in the tens of thousands of dollars,
will be earmarked for tsunami and earthquake relief efforts.

The IT and CE distributor’s Japanese vendors include Brother,
Buffalo, Canon, Casio, Epson, Fuji, JVC, Konica, Nikon, Nintendo, Olympus,
Optoma, Panasonic, Ricoh, Sharp, Sony, Toshiba, Yamaha and others.

D&H said it has maintained close, often decades-long,
relationships with a roster of manufacturers headquartered in Japan, which has
made the company “very sensitive to the challenges faced by that country in the
wake of these events.”  D&H staffers
also plan to devote the efforts of D&H Cares, the company’s employee-run
charity foundation, to Japanese relief funds as a supplement to its corporate
contribution.

“We are dedicated to seeing the success of Japan as it rebuilds
its homes and facilities,” said D&H co-president Dan Schwab. “Their
contribution to the high-tech industries has been immeasurable.”
