Definitive Makes Management Changes

Baltimore — Definitive Technology expanded its management ranks with the promotion of Dave Peet to executive VP from sales VP and the naming of Polk Audio’s Paul DiComo tonewly created position of marketing VP.

In his new role, Peet maintains his sales responsibilities, but the new title “more accurately describes the new responsibilities” that he adds to his sales responsibilities, said Definitive president Sandy Gross.

In his new role, DiComo will handle marketing responsibilities previously handled by Gross.

Peet served as Definitive’s international sales manager from 2001 to 2005 and was sales VP from 2005 to the present. Peet’s past also includes retail management roles, including audio buyer at United Audio and electronics category manager at Montgomery Ward.

DiComo comes to Definitive from sister company Polk Audio, where he worked since 1983, first as national sales manager and then in 1995 as marketing manager. DiComo worked at NAD before moving to Polk.

Polk and Definitive are owned by Directed Electronics, which bought Definitive in 2004 and Polk in 2006.
