Scottsdale, Ariz. — DBL Distributing will host hosting their annual charity event on Friday April 17, featuring a demonstration by legendary golfer Annika Sorenstam and will hold its Vendor Expo the following day.
Proceeds from both events, which DBL hopes will top $100,000, will be donated to the Annika Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale.
On Friday DBL will host its annual charity golf tournament for manufacturers and customers at the Wildfire Golf Course at JW Marriott, Desert Ridge.
DBL’s Charity golf tournament will commence with a brief golf demonstration by Annika Sorenstam. Immediately following, 150 players will begin the tournament with a shotgun start on the JW Marriott’s Palmer course.
Following the day’s festivities, DBL’s manufacturer representatives will host a cocktail reception and silent auction for all attendees where golf prizes will be awarded for best team score, longest drive and closest to the pin.
The success of this charity event is due in large part from DBL’s sponsors, including Sony, Omnimount, Philips, Samsung, Xentris, Pentax, Steren, Olympus, Fruwt, SteelSeries, Belkin and Sunpack.
On Saturday, April 18, DBL will feature product presentations from more than 100 of DBL’s industry leading manufacturers at the DBL Vendor Expo. This tabletop tradeshow is geared to facilitate product education and important selling features through hands-on product demonstrations and informative discussions with DBL’s manufacturers. DBL is anticipating more than 500 attendees to participate in this year’s Vendor Expo.
Returning vendors include Samsung, Sony, Sherwood, JBL, Omnimount, NXG Technology and many more. New DBL vendors to exhibit at this year’s event include Pure Digital, BBE, Cuisinart and Radius headphones, among others.
New to the Vendor Expo are the Samsung training seminars. These break-out sessions will showcase Samsung’s new LED technology from their newest TVs, sound quality featured in their home-theater sound systems and the HD picture quality experienced through their new Blu-ray players.
DBL will honor this season’s innovative products at their Spirit of Innovation Awards. DBL collected nominations for some of the ground-breaking products featured in their new Spring/Summer catalog. With the help of DBL’s customer community, DBL collected votes to decipher which products reign superior over the competition. All Spirit of Innovation nominees will be displayed at the Vendor Expo and the category and overall winners will be awarded recognition.
