dB Logic Ships EP-100 Earphones

Indianapolis – dB
Logic said it is now shipping its EP-100 earphones, first announced at
International CES last month.

The earphones,
which have a $29.99 suggested retail, feature the company’s SPL2 technology,
engineered to protect users from long-term hearing damage by “regulating volume
as needed while keeping musical content largely unchanged,” the company said.

According to dB Logic, this occurs by using
advanced circuitry, eliminating the need for bulky battery-powered processors
and “maintaining the integrity of the sound.”

Specs include 9mm
drivers, a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz, and a max input power of 40mW. A
choice of six colors is available:  Quick
Silver, Big Apple Red, Barracuda Blue, Valentine Pink, Shamrock Green and Tiger
Orange.
