DataVision Holds 4th Annual Charity Tourney

Deal, N.J. –
DataVision, the New York specialty IT and A/V dealer, held its fourth annual
Rainbow Sports charity tournament here last month.

The event
benefitted The Stella Liniado Rainbow Foundation, which supports cancer
research and helps fund bone marrow testing for patients.

The Foundation was
named after the daughter of DataVision president Albert Liniado, who succumbed
to leukemia three years ago.

The basketball and
tennis tournament, held at a Jewish Community Center here, was sponsored by
Intel, Toshiba, Sony and DataVision, which also provided auction items
including iPads and notebook computers. Giveaways included headphones and
laptop accessories donated by Belkin, Koss and BuiltNY.

The Foundation has
also created a 7,500-person bone-marrow registry for Sephardic Jews. To date,
15 matching donors have provided marrow to cancer patients.
