Dacor Moving HQ

Costa Mesa, Calif. – Dacor, the premium kitchen appliance manufacturer, is moving its corporate headquarters here from Diamond Bar, Calif.

The family-run company will take up residence in the landmark Plaza Tower near the tony South Coast Plaza shopping district. Dacor also plans to open a Design & Culinary Center and state-of-the-art training facility at its new Orange County home.

The relocation, the company’s third since its founding in Pasadena in 1965, will position it for new growth, Dacor said,  and is the latest in a series of steps taken over the past two years to realign its operations, consolidate corporate functions, increase efficiencies and reduce costs.

The vendor’s manufacturing facility will continue to operate in City of Industry, Calif.

Decor said Costa Mesa is one of its largest markets, and that it chose the Plaza Tower building in part for its for its environmentally-friendly construction and operation and LEED-EB Gold Certification. The company has historically been committed to environmental conservation, as reflected in the design and manufacture of its innovative, energy-saving appliances.
