Crucial Releases New Flash Drives

Boise, Idaho — Crucial Technology, a division of Micron, announced two new USB flash drives in its Gizmo! Line.

The high-speed USB 2.0 drives feature write speeds up to 13 megabytes per second (MBps) and read speeds up to 25 MBps. The new models will consist of the standard Gizmo! overdrive and Gizmo! overdrive with security software.

The new Gizmo! overdrives USB flash drives will feature the same exterior housing as their predecessors but with new colors. They will be available in capacities from 512MB, $47.99, to 2GB, $175.99, without the security features and $49.99 and $189.99 with data encryption and password protection.
