Simi Valley,
Calif. – Crimestopper introduced three new remote starters this week, as part
of its CoolStart and ProStart lines.
The three models
are identical in the two different lines, but the CoolStart brand typically
goes through distributors and some independents, while the ProStart brand goes
directly to specialty retailers, Crimestopper’s president Howard Miller told
TWICE.
The CoolStart RS1-G3 system (ProStart PS01-G3)
is a one-way remote-start system that uses two one-button chrome-accented
remotes and can unlock doors. It does not have keyless entry.
The CoolStart
RS3-G3 (ProStart PS03-G3) has two four-button remotes with brushed-aluminum
acents. Features include keyless entry, lock, unlock and start.
The RS4-G3
(ProStart PS04-G3) is similar to the RS3-G3 except that it adds trunk pop.
All of the
products, which will be available in September, have 1,500-foot ranges. Pricing
was not available.
