Salt Lake City — Long-time industry veteran Jim Arnold has been named sales senior VP for home automation systems manufacturer Control4. He will be responsible for worldwide sales activities.
Arnold comes to Control4 from DirecTV, where he spent almost nine years as sales and distribution senior VP. At DirecTV he was responsible for retail, distributor, lodging and commercial distribution.
Arnold, who has worked in the consumer electronics industry for the past 22 years, had earlier served for 13 years with RCA, Thomson’s consumer electronics business, as well as GE’s consumer and major appliance businesses.
“Jim is a seasoned veteran and his proven background in leading sales organizations, building distribution relationships and increasing revenue make him an invaluable asset to our team,” stated Glen Mella, Control4 president and COO. “His experience will be vital in driving our continued rapid expansion as we accelerate the adoption of home automation and control for the broad market.”
