Samsung Electronics may not be the biggest player in the Ultrabook market, but what the company lacks in size it has made up on the product side by rolling out the popular ATIV Book 9 Ultrabook. The ATIV Book 9 embodies exactly what Intel wanted in an Ultrabook.
The combination of being small, light, featuring high-end specifications, and being centered on a FullHD display made it the choice among voters in the first TWICE VIP Awards. The Ultrabook is a relative newcomer, shipping in April.
Samsung made the 13.3-inch, 1,920 by 1,080 FullHD, 300-nit display with Samsung SuperBright technology the centerpiece for the 2.5-pound computer. The Intel Core i7 processor and 128GB solid state drive help the ATIV Book 9 attain almost six hours of battery life.
“We closely listened to our customers and created an updated product to fit their needs, while preserving the remarkable design and enhancing the overall experience delivered by the Book 9 lineage,” said Samsung’s David Ng, PC product manager.
