Cohn Leaves D&M; Organizational Changes Made

Mahwah, N.J. -Phil Cohn, D&M’s
SVP of sales and marketing for three audio brands, left the company, which is
also making organizational changes, said Jim Caudill, D&M’s chairman,
president and CEO.

Kevin Zarow, Marantz’s sales and
marketing VP, is taking on the new title of senior VP of sales for the Denon,
Marantz, and Boston Acoustics brands and will report directly to Caudill. The
company will also create a new product marketing VP position to lead the company’s
Denon and Marantz product development efforts, Caudill said.

Cohn left D&M today, Sept. 2,
after seven years “to pursue career interests outside of the consumer
electronics industry,” the company said in a statement that wished Cohn well.

“None of these changes will
affect the day-to-day operations of D&M and our brand companies,” the
company added. “We look forward to continuing to refine and improve our sales
and marketing capabilities in order to be an even stronger and more effective
ally for all of our valued retail and custom integration partners across North
America.”
